Fonio from Togo

Some agricultural products from Europe are so cheap in Africa that local family farmers are unable to move their goods. Subsidies and our highly industrialised agriculture are to blame. To raise awareness of this issue, we're now importing grain from West Africa to Europe.

Order fonio from Togo

Farming families are losing their market to the EU. So we decided to turn the tables by importing fonio, a type of grain, from West Africa. Your order will help us spread awareness of this issue.

Fonio is a variety of millet that has been grown in Africa for centuries. It can be used to make couscous and porridge, or ground into flour for baking.
All packages for the first shipping date at the end of February are already sold out. You now have the opportunity to order packages for the second shipping date. This is planned for April.
